The Tuition Angel Fund was created in 2008 to assist families facing an unexpected change in finances during the school year. More recently funds have been used to assist families with tuition costs from the start of the school year when need has been demonstrated and funds are available. The balance of this fund may be used in totality in any given school year.

Current funding sources for the Tuition Angels are: 

• Erie Gives Day - A 12 hour period of online giving with a percent match by the Erie Community Foundation, held the 2nd Tuesday in August.
• Individuals that donate so that students in need can attend OLP and receive a Catholic education
• Hank Starr Memorial Golf Tournament
• Bequest Gifts and Memorials
